Contents

The lecture Design and applications of lasers and optical systems consists of two parts, which can be attended separately (2 credit points each) or together (5 credit points). The fist part Introduction to optical systems for production takes place in the first half of the semester and is lectured by Prof. Loosen (Chair for Technology of Optical Systems). The second part Introduction to laser applications takes place in the second half of the semester and is lectured by Prof. Poprawe (Chair for Laser Technology).
The lecture addresses bachelor students of engineering science and industrial engineering.
